Dr. Shrobona Bhattacharya

Shrobona Bhattacharya

Shrobona is community builder, District and Town councillor of Cambourne, university staff, chairs and founders of many registered charities in the UK, and mother of two children Shrobona Bhattacharya leads on building external partnerships and collaborations to support local community engagement, with a focus in South Cambridgeshire.

To date, some of her key projects have impacted the local community included Cambourne Science Festival, Cambourne Electronics and Robotics Club, Experimental Cookery Club, Come Cook and Dine with Me, Art Exhibitions to develop an interactive platform within local communities.

Shrobona also contributes to wider projects and strategies across Northern Ireland, Scotland, UAE, India and several European countries doing skills enhancement, fundraising, community engagement, knowledge exchange, and policies and initiatives for an inclusive Community.

Shrobona developed extensive experience in the communities, focusing on initiatives which created platforms for under-represented groups, widening participation across the communities, tackling loneliness and liaising with local government on development for the young and elders through digitalisations. 

Mr. Soumya Ranjan Patel

Director

Soumya Ranjan Patel, or SRP as he is commonly known amongst colleagues and friends, deftly combines a wealth of experience in techno-functional leadership with a profound passion for promoting wellbeing. A devoted meditator, he recognises the transformative power of community and positive psychology in bringing out the best in people.

Boasting a diverse background spanning over sixteen years across a deep-tech startup, the legal industry (Baker McKenzie), management consulting (KPMG), and information technology IBM), he has expertly guided high-performing teams across Europe, North America & Asia-Pacific, adeptly steering complex multi-year programmes and projects.

Beyond his professional pursuits, SRP is an enthusiastic tinkerer, with Arial Robotics and AI piquing his current interests. His holistic approach to wellbeing integrates mindfulness, community involvement, enterprise, and the advocacy of STEM education. SRP is committed to WellbeingOn’s purposeful mission to enrich the lives of individuals and communities.

Venkat Kommi

Venkat Kommi

Venkat Kommi is Marine Systems Analyst working in Cambridge since 2001 straight after finishing his Engineering degree as Naval Architect in India.

Professional carrier Venkat is responsible for conducting technical studies and assessments to identify areas for improvement in marine systems. They utilize data analysis techniques and modelling tools to evaluate the performance of critical components of marine vessels. They can identify potential issues by analyzing data and conducting simulations and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, and improve overall performance.

Beyond his professional carrier, Venkat teaches first lego league for the CERC team and other STEM challenges. Venkat is committed to WellbeingOn’s purposeful mission to enrich the lives of individuals and communities.
